GeoTHERM 2025 publishes congress programme
Europe's leading trade fair for geothermal energy

Offenburg. In three months, the city of Offenburg will once again become the international meeting place for experts from the geothermal industry. GeoTHERM not only offers an exhibition area of around 15,000 square metres, but also an outstanding congress programme. With over 250 exhibitors, GeoTHERM, which will take place on 20 and 21 February 2025 at the exhibition grounds in Offenburg, is Europe's largest trade fair for geothermal energy.

“GeoTHERM is an indispensable meeting place for the geothermal industry. We look forward to once again providing a platform for the exchange and further development of this pioneering technology in 2025,” emphasizes project manager Gabriele Weislogel.

Congress programme online

As every year, GeoTHERM presents high-calibre, exciting lectures from the fields of near-surface and deep geothermal energy in two congresses over both days of the trade fair. These will be simultaneously translated due to the high level of internationality.

On the first day of GeoTHERM, Dr. Clément Baujard & Guillaume Ravier, Eramet, Électricité de Strasbourg (ÉS) speak about the “Main outcomes of the Prefeasibility Study of the Ageli project aiming to produce lithium carbonate battery grade with low environmental impacts from deep geothermal brine in the French Upper Rhine Graben”.
At the same time, Andrew Clark from Inova Geophysical Inc. will discuss the topic of “Key capabilities of nodal seismic data acquisition systems to enable their efficient use in urban areas and to ensure data quality.”

On the second day Matthias Ziller, Eavor GmbH talks about “The Geoscience behind an Eavor-Loop – Complex Geology requires special attention”.
Hans Sjerps, Halliburton reports about “New GeoESP® Pump Intake Enhances Performance in High-Flow Geothermal Wells”.
